USM is seeking experienced Area Managers responsible for managing all Company activities within his/her assigned territory. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: The AM is responsible for managing all Company activities within his/her assigned territory. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Customer Relations/Problem resolution - Provide superior service through consistent customer communication, interaction, follow up and training
• Property visitation – accomplished on a predetermined frequency to insure quality assurance and provide feedback and reporting
• Accurate reporting and submission of quality control documentation.
• Subcontractor management - to include identification, selection, and training.
• Sales – Identify and solicit new business opportunities.
• Management of capital assets – to include all company owned equipment and product being used in accounts within your territory
• Assure financial budgets, goals and profit margins for your territory are adhered to
• 2-4 years experience in managing sub-contractors with an emphasis in both interior and exterior services.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Must be able to pass a background check and must be authorized to work in the U.S.
QUALIFICATIONS: Superior interpersonal, communication, negotiation and problem solving skills. Education/experience requirements are either: 1) An associate’s degree in a business or technical discipline or, 2) Two years experience in a supervisory or commercial sales position, 3) Strong background in irrigation systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid driver’s license and be bondable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to climb stairs & ladders, lift/move objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
