Job Title: Groundskeeper-Part Time Company: Location: South Bend, IN Description: We are searching for a part time groundskeeper for our apartment community. Attention to detail is as must, you will be responsible for taking care of the grounds, common hallways, parking lots, sidewalks. During the warmer months, you will be weeding, trimming, lite painting, watering flowers, picking up the grounds. During the winter months, you will be shoveling snow, using ice melt on sidewalks. You will also be assisting the maintenance supervisor when needed. Previous experience in grounds is preferred. Walking, standing, stooping, kneeing, bending, going up and down ladders, knowledge of small tools, driving a small tractor if necessary. This is a part time morning position-8:00am to 1:00pm monday through friday. In the winter months, hours may change due to snow removal. You may ask to work early morning hours or late evening afternoons shoveling snow. This position may also include being on call for emergency calls only.
