Job Title: Landscape Laborer--No experience necessary Company: Location: Milwaukee, WI Description: PLEASE--Only apply if you are seriously looking for a job! Our company is a small (but rapidly growing) landscape company that focuses on maintenance and small improvement projects. We do not install hardscape materials. Our maintenance work focuses on routine and technical management of ornamental landscapes and lawns. We will train the right person in all aspects of this position. However, of course, if you have professional landscape experience that will be considered. This position is considered an entry level position with advancement opportunities. Depending upon individual interest, natural capabilities and drive, these advancements may happen quickly. Our company is growing and will be looking for additional lead people for the 2011 season. We will look from within our company to fill positions first. Again--if you already have relevant professional landscape experience, we would entertain the option of filling a lead foreman's position now, rather than wait until 2011. For the foreman's position we would be looking for 3-7 years of professional horticultural experience, including disease/insect diagnosis ability and pesticide application. Pay and bennefits would be partially determined by prior experiences. The landscape laborer position is available immediately. Pay is hourly, 9.00-11.50/hour, depending upon experience and work history. Our outside work season ends in Late November/Early December and begins again Mid March. During the winter, you may qualify to collect unemployment. Hours are 7am-2:30/5:30pm. End time varies depending upon work load and weather. Generally, 32-48 hours/week...averages to 40. We do pay overtime for all hours over 40/week. Paid with checks every other week as part of our regular payroll with all necessary taxes withheld. Our place of work is in Menomonee Falls--you must have your own transportation to and from work daily. We are a tobacco and drug free work place. Applicant must hold a valid license and have a clean driving record. Experience driving a truck with trailer is preferred.
