We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of Account management. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective clients. The account manager will be expected to manage a book of business and sell additional work to existing clients. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. If you meet all requirements listed, please apply!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the client
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client
Communicate with clients to thoroughly understand their needs, interests, and specific project requirements
Facilitate production to ensure projects meet expectations and are delivered on time
Review quality of service, assessing site conditions, and suggest improvements to client and/or production
Maintain communications with internal personnel to ensure efforts are in line with objectives
Identify prospective clients and take on new leads to help grow sales
Effectively negotiate details of contracts and payment terms
Maintain relationships with clients, including following up after projects have been completed
Perform other duties as needed including snow and ice management as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Proven track record of success in landscape account management & sales
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of standard landscape industry standards and practices.
Excellent at customer relationship management.
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Knowledge of landscape industry and/or sales software experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Service Auto Pilot.
Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and workers effectively and respectfully.
Cooperative and able to work in a team environment.
Flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment focused on improvement.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and motivate customers.
