Immediate opening for a qualified Operations Manager ready to join a Growing team in the Tree care industry.

Summary: Must be a STONG LEADER and self-starter who demonstrates initiative


Division Manager with Sales Responsibilities: will oversee daily operations of commercial and residential Tree Division of this growing  Company. The position will have direct responsibility for daily operations management and sales management functions. 


The Division Manager is responsible for:

Operations: Coordinates Crew makeup, equipment tools and supplies.


Safety: Knows all company safety regulations, teaches them to all crewmembers and insists on 100% compliance.


Personnel: Is responsible for hiring, firing, promotions, and pay raises of employees under his/her supervision


Efficiency and Cost Control: Studies and determines the most efficient way to handle each job, taking into account, such factors as locations, season, crew availability, equipment, materials, etc.


Equipment, Materials, and Supplies: Assure there are sufficient, appropriate materials and equipment to do the job.  Knows proper and complete operation of each piece of equipment, sees that the crew uses the right equipment for each job.


Image: Conducts himself and his crews properly in order to make a good impression on clients and prospective clients, the general public, and others who observe the crews on the job or traveling to and from the job site. This includes personal and equipment cleanliness, not littering, controlling profanity, and being courteous to the public.


            Sales: Establishes weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals. Holds sales staff accountable for sales goals and return per hour goals. The position will work closely with Sales/Business Development to plan, with Sales

             Responsibilities, forecasting, and delivering revenue and profit growth.  The General Manager is

             responsible to provide direction and leadership to ensure effective operations, complete customer satisfaction and long-term                         sustainable growth.

Salaried Depending on experience.

  • Able to perform a supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with sales representatives, management and work crews to maintain a cost-efficient, professional operation.
  • Five to ten years of management responsibility for a team and business-unit performance with demonstrated ability to translate business strategy to actionable results.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, abilities, and experience.
  • Experience with continuous process improvement practices.
  • Firm comprehension of financial statements and analysis; risk management.
  • Understanding of the strategic-planning process.
  • Bachelor's degree in either business or horticulture-related field required.
  • Certified Arborist
