Landscaper

EMR is looking for an experienced and reliable Landscaper to join our team! If you have hands-on experience with landscaping equipment and are comfortable working independently or in a team, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position that requires someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to take on a variety of landscaping tasks. This position requires a valid drivers license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, weed whackers, pole/prune saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers, and backpack blowers efficiently and safely.

• Experience with Skid Steers or front-end loaders is a significant plus.

• Complete various landscaping tasks, including planting, weeding, mulching, pruning, and lawn care.

• Assess soil conditions and select appropriate treatments or plant types for optimal growth.

• Identify and treat plant diseases and pests to maintain plant health.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols.

• Collaborate with the Landscape Lead and other team members to meet project deadlines and ensure quality work.

• Drive company truck to various work sites and ensure equipment is transported safely.

• Fill in for the Landscaper Lead when necessary and continue tasks as usual.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Proven experience operating landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, weed whackers, and hedge trimmers.

• Comfortable working with large equipment such as Skid Steers or front-end loaders .

• Ability to work well in a team and independently for large portions of the day.

• Ability to adapt to changes in assignments and handle a variety of tasks.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the team and supervisors.

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Previous landscaping experience is required .

• Comfortable driving a company truck to and from job sites.

• Ability to work in different environments and weather conditions.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent preferred.

• Proven experience with landscaping and/or related field.

• Certification or training in horticulture or landscaping is a plus.

$18 - 22/hr
