Apartment Groundskeeper Porter

Join our team, we get people HIRED! CXC Talent Solutions is currently seeking several Groundskeepers porters in Denton, TX, to manage the overall upkeep and curb appeal of the apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have experience completing all the different maintenance tasks according to the position. You must be organized, able to work alone and with a team, follow directions, be resident service-focused, and have good interpersonal skills. You must have a passion for quality and service.

Groundskeeper Responsibilities:

• Clean and inspect the property around the landscaping and parking areas.
• Keep all common areas cleaned and organized.
• Perform preventive maintenance as requested.
• Clean/trash out vacant apartments as needed.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as requested.
• Assist with apartment make-readies as requested--trash out vacant units, caulk/grout, check appliances and smoke detector, replace parts, etc.

Groundskeeper Skills Required:

• Some experience in groundskeeping or janitorial duties and responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and safety concerns.
• Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills, and able to communicate with coworkers, residents and/or vendors as needed

Technical/Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Physical Demands and working Conditions:

• Standing, walking, going up/down the stairs, climb or balance
• Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds

Other Requirements:

• Valid non-expired Driver's License or State issued ID.
• Reliable transportation
• Hand/Power tools
• Able to work indoors/outdoors in different climate conditions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish), a PLUS but not required.
