Alans Lawn & Garden services DBA Alans Lawn & Garden in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Full-Time, Permanent landscaping supervisor.
Conditions:
Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor (82031)
Full-Time, Permanent position, 30-40 hours/week
Hourly Wage: $35/hour (wage to be determined depending on experience and skills)
Vacation: 4% of gross salary
Ability to work on weekends or holidays according to the working schedule.
Number of Positions: 1

And the candidate will be expected to work at various sites in Greater Vancouver (Burnaby, Richmond, Vancouver, Coquitlam, etc.)
Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a landscape or horticulture supervisor or as a landscape or horticulture technician is required
Language: English
Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who maintain commercial, strata, residential lawns, gardens, and other landscaped areas
Plan and estimate the maintenance materials and labour requirements for individual contracts
Organize the plant installations and maintenance of trees, gardens, lawns, shrubs, and hedges, and the construction and installation of fences, decks, patios, walkways, and retaining walls
Establish daily/weekly work schedules and procedures
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress reports
Requisition supplies and materials
Maintain personnel records
Training workers in job duties and following company policies
