Job Summary

The job of Groundskeeper is done for the purpose/s of maintaining safe, attractive, and functional grounds area/s and athletic fields; skillfully operating and ensuring the availability of required equipment; protecting against erosion; maintaining grounds for assemblies, recreational activities and/or athletic events; and ensuring assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.

Job related experience is required. Ability to skillfully & safely operate grounds equipment; perform a variety of grounds maintenance work. Knowledge of methods used in grounds maintenance work to include athletic fields, landscape, playgrounds, and irrigation. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Please attach to your application or be prepared to present if selected for a position. Passing score must be achieved on a written exam.
