Groundskeeper

Job Title: Groundskeeper (outside)

Job Type: Full-Time | [Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate:$16 hr

We are currently hiring a Groundskeeper to provide general labor and site support at a landfill facility. This role does not involve working directly with trash or waste placement areas . Instead, youll help maintain the surrounding grounds, equipment, and vehicles to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

• Perform daily yard clean-up and site maintenance tasks

• Fuel company vehicles and light equipment

• Operate site vehicles and light machinery (e.g., mowers, sweepers, pickup trucks)

• Clean tracks on tracked equipment

• Handle basic landscaping duties such as mowing and picking up debris

• Assist with installing temporary wind fences as needed

• Direct traffic safely on-site as required

• Complete minor janitorial tasks and office maintenance (painting, cleaning, etc.)

• Support the team with other general labor tasks as assigned

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Valid drivers license

Required:

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work independently

• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

• Reliability and punctuality are a must
