JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE OF THE POSITION:

Groundskeeper 1st shift

LOCATION OF THE POSITION:

Bremen High School

REPORTS TO:

Building Manager/Chief

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Entire outside grounds / Sports fields. Building maintenance as necessary.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Maintain the appearance of the campus grounds.
  • Empty all trash cans daily.
  • Pick up all trash on grounds daily.
  • Mark and maintain all sports fields.
  • Maintain flower beds and all shrubbery.
  • Ensure that all playing fields are ready in a timely manner.
  • Assist with maintenance when necessary.
  • Responsible for snow removal.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Maintain all grounds equipment (change oil, filters, grease, and keep equipment clean).
  • Keep record of all scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
  • Keep Chief informed of needed supplies.
  • Report broken equipment to Chief.
  • Snow removal when necessary. (Hours will vary).
  • Additional duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
