Groundskeeper

MTM Snow LLC** is seeking to fill ten (10) temporary, full-time seasonal Groundskeeper positions for October 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Worksite: 31565 Utica Rd, Fraser, MI 48026 and multiple sites in Macomb and Oakland counties.

**Job Duties:** Shovel snow, grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup and winterization of irrigation systems, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance, such as clearing roads and facilities of leaves, snow, or debris. Workers will not drive plow trucks. Workers will use hand tools, such as shovels and snow brooms, as well as powered hand held equipment such as walk behind electric or gas snow blowers. Potential for fall and spring clean-up, including raking, mulching, and composting of leaves, removal of dead plant material, perennial plant cutbacks, landscape bed mulching, and dormant pruning from the ground level. Deicing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading deicing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. A driver's license is not required. If a worker has a noncommercial driver's license, they may drive a crew vehicle as needed.

**Requirements:** No education or experience required.

**Special Requirements:** Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Work hours may include nights and overtime during emergencies and winter storm conditions. Must be able to perform manual, physical labor outside during all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.)

**Terms and conditions of employment:** $18.99 /hour, 35 hours/week, Overtime available at $28.49 per hour. Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-5:00PM. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. On the job training available. Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Workers will begin each day at the worksite address. They will then be transported, free of charge, to properties located throughout the area of intended employment to provide services. They will then be transported back to the worksite address at the end of each work day. Employer provides incidental transportation between worksites as necessary. No daily transportation to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Such transportation complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations.

Employer (ER) will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law and no others without employee (EE) consent. If needed, ER will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities. If needed, ER will assist in arranging optional EE-paid lodging for hired foreign & non-local U.S. EE. At ER's election, ER will either deduct for reasonable FMV cost of rent & utils based on # of occupants for EE who voluntarily elect to live in ER-offered housing, or EE will pay housing costs directly to 3rd-party landlord per lease terms. Voluntary advances and/or loans, if any, may be repaid by pre-auth payroll deductions. ER will provide shared vehicle w/ insurance for personal use at no cost to EE. ER provides incidental transport btw worksites. No daily transport to/from home & primary worksite. Transport complies w/ all applicable laws & regs. EEs accrue sick leave at a rate of one hour / 30 hours worked up to 72 hours/year per Michigan Earned Sick Time Act.
