We are seeking a diligent and proactive Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping, maintenance, and custodial duties to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of all outdoor areas, including landscaping, grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, and common areas.

Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, watering, and planting to ensure the property's curb appeal.

Remove litter, debris, and other hazards from the grounds on a regular basis.

Conduct regular inspections of the property and report any maintenance or safety issues to the maintenance team or property manager.

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.

Ensure that trash and recycling areas are kept clean and organized, and assist with waste removal and recycling efforts.

Support resident move-in and move-out processes by preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Requirements:

Previous experience in landscaping, custodial work, or a similar maintenance role preferred.

Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Good communication skills to interact professionally with residents and team members.

Knowledge of safety practices and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
