Uvalde Memorial Hospital is looking for a Groundskeeper / Mechanic I to join our Plant Operations team. In this essential role, you'll help ensure that our hospital campus is safe, functional, and welcoming-from the mechanical systems inside to the green spaces outside.

This is more than just mowing lawns or tightening screws-you'll be supporting a facility that cares for our entire community.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain landscaping, trees, and green spaces for a clean and safe exterior environment
• Perform basic building maintenance including light plumbing, carpentry, and repairs
• Support preventative maintenance tasks on facility systems and equipment
• Operate lawn care equipment, irrigation systems, and small tools safely and efficiently
• Respond to maintenance requests and assist in keeping the campus running smoothly
• Participate in the department's on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs
