Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems and completing engineering requests in accordance with sound business practices and general corporate policies. The role requires conducting site visits and reviewing individual drawings to ensure the completeness and accuracy of work performed.

Responsibilities

  • Design fire protection sprinkler systems.
  • Complete engineering requests aligned with business practices and corporate policies.
  • Review individual drawings for completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct site visits to assess and gather necessary information.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in fire protection design and sprinkler systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Autosprink, Revit, and Hydracad.
  • 0-5+ years of sprinkler design experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in building design (Multifamily, Data Center, Government).
  • NICET 3 or higher for fully remote positions.
  • BIM coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with Hydracad and some Revit.

Work Environment

The position is primarily based in an office setting, with a laid-back and casual firm culture. The company offers a 9am-5pm schedule but provides flexible working hours as needed. Employees have the opportunity to purchase stock in this employee-owned company. While the firm is family-owned, it is part of a larger organization. The role involves heavy design production, and work-from-home options are available as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
