Spray Technician

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Secondary studies in turf, agronomy or insects is desirable but not necessary

Job Description:

• Apply fertilizer and chemical applications
• Update spray records, inventory and MSDS sheets
• Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreader
• General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment
• Over time be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues

Special Requirements:

• Must have a valid South Carolinas drivers license
• Able to obtain South Carolina pesticide license within 12 months of obtaining position
• Willing to attend continuing education seminars and classes
• Have no problems wearing spray applicator suites, full face respirators, or chemical resistant apparel
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Do simple math
• Willing to learn
• Detail oriented
• Keep area neat and organized
