We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Technician ( Red Seal Journeyperson) to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB .
In this role, you will inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems across commercial and industrial sites. Systems include wet and dry sprinklers, pre-action and deluge systems, fire pumps, hydrants, backflow preventers, and specialty suppression systems.

Schedule & Work Environment
- 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule
- 12-hour shifts
- Paid travel and accommodation for fly-in/fly-out (within Canada)
- Fort McMurray local candidates eligible for a housing allowance

What You’ll Do
- Perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler and suppression systems
- Develop and follow maintenance schedules and complete detailed service reports
- Troubleshoot system issues and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Coordinate parts, scope of work, and job planning with customers and supervisors
- Respond to emergency service calls as required
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and site requirements
- Support JHAs, safe work practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
- Red Seal Journeyman Fire Sprinkler Technician (required)
- 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, service, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and specialty systems
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in industrial environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and site access requirements
Nice to Have (Assets)
- Foam system inspection or installation experience
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems and panels
- Experience servicing fire pumps and hydrants
- Backflow prevention certification
