3 farmworkers are needed in Livingston County, Michigan, to perform general farm labor and harvest vegetables and fruits including sweet corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, zucchini, squash, green beans, potatoes, melons, strawberries, and peaches. Duties include seeding and planting; pruning, training, tying, and staking plants; weeding; applying fertilizer; installing, operating, and maintaining irrigation systems; laying and removing plastic and drip tape; loading and unloading; and general farm maintenance and cleanup. Workers will also operate tractors and other farm vehicles, perform minor equipment repairs, and may drive employer-provided vehicles between worksites. The job requires at least 2 months of prior agricultural experience, the ability to follow instructions, and to lift up to 70 lbs. Work is paid hourly, and training will be provided.
