The Park Planner is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt position, eligible for paid time off and an IMRF pension. This position performs a majority of their work in a standard office setting. Many of the incumbent's responsibilities require observing parks and facilities outdoors, observing conditions and activities at construction/project sites and within various facilities. The position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager. This position may require flexibility in the hours worked to meet the needs of the Planning and Operations Department, and may change depending upon project and planning demands. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime/Evening and weekend hours may be necessary to support continuous business operations and/or emergency situations.
