General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Perform work in the care and improvement of
grounds and site landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining district grounds including, but not limited to, mowing, string trimming, pruning shrubs, trees, weeding, shoveling and removing paper and debris from school yard and along fence lines.
General landscaping projects including mulch and rock.
Installing, repairing and maintaining indoor and outdoor athletic equipment and playing fields; playground apparatus.
Replacing and repairing chain link fencing.
Assist in installing and repairing irrigation systems.
Other like or comparable duties as assigned.
Job Type: Casual, Summer Employment. Positions start as early as May 6, 2026.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday work week, 8 hours per day. 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Bargaining Unit: Custodians
Salary: $20.00/hour
