Description:

Groundskeeper / Custodian Job Responsibilities:

Perform general grounds maintenance and custodial duties

Mow, trim, weed eat, prune trees, and maintain landscaping

Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance

Operate lawn equipment, zero-turn mowers, skid steers, and other maintenance equipment

Complete basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks

Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

Assist with manual labor projects and facility upkeep as needed

Qualifications:

Groundskeeper / Custodian Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

At least 2 years of groundskeeping, landscaping, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred

Experience operating lawn and maintenance equipment preferred

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work from ladders/heights when needed

Valid Kansas driver's license required; CDL is a plus but can be obtained after hire

Dependable with strong work ethic and attendance
