Job Summary: Employer is looking to fill 15 General Farm/Irrigation Worker positions. This is a temporary, full-time, seasonal position from 7/13/2026-9/28/2026 IN St. Paul, Oregon.
Requirements: 2 months experience with farm/irrigation work. Experience be verified by at least one reference.
Employer Note: Daily transportation to and between worksites provided at no cost to workers living in employer- provided housing. Housing provided to those unable to return to their permanent residence at the end of the workday. Employer provides all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. All work sites and all facilities of the employer are drug-free workplaces. Form I-9 will be completed no later than the first date of employment. Documentation of identity and employment authorization (original documents only) as required for Form I-9 under the Immigration Reform and Control Act must be presented to the
employer for examination within three business days of the employees first date of employment.
Job Duties: Maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize, and harvest crops. Make minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on farm machinery. May mix and/or spray chemicals (according to appropriate restrictive use laws, when/if applicable). Drive, load/unload trucks on, or between, farm worksites. Operate vehicle, motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course of performing duties. Prepare field. Plant, spray, weed, and irrigate crops/plants/trees. Sow seed and plant cuttings. Mix planting soil; propagate plants. Plant trees/vines/plants in containers. Walk behind equipment to ensure plant placement
Plant transplants with machine or by hand. Observe general condition and inspect. Crops/plants/trees for signs of disease/insect manifestations/worms/rot and apply appropriate care. Remove dead plants and replace with seeds or live plants. Read/interpret meters used to regulate/control environmental conditions. Maintain/repair hydroponic/environmental control systems. Pollinate/prune/transplant/pinch plants/trees and cull appropriately to ensure development of product. Care for trees during growing process including weeding, hoeing, trunk painting, and hand fertilizing. Prune trees using a variety of pruning equipment including pruning knife, hand shears, hand loppers, hand saws, and 12-foot ladders; prune and thin from the ground or a ladder up to 12 feet in height or from a motorized platform. Maneuver up to 100 lbs.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Wages: $15.25 per hour, paid biweekly. Employer will make all required deductions from worker's wages.
