Seasonal Grounds Maintenance

Performs a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks to keep city grounds and public spaces clean, safe, and visually appealing throughout the season. Duties include edging, weeding, planting, watering and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and trees; applying mulch; operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as blowers, and trimmers; removing debris, litter, and invasive plants; and assisting Urban Forestry and Floral Gardening. May also support seasonal cleanup efforts as needed. Works outdoors in varying weather conditions and performs physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
