Cambridge Landscape Services is looking for exceptional people for our PHC Technician position. Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform applications to address fertility, weed management, and insect management of turf on clients properties

Ability to identify and diagnose insect, disease, and cultural issues in the field

Adhere to best Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices

Communicate turf needs on specific properties to Account Managers/Branch Manager

Routine care and regular calibration of spray truck equipment to ensure accurate applications

Be adept at following EPA labels and correctly mixing spray tanks for necessary applications each day

Enter detailed notes regarding each application including record of material usage into handheld device

Assist with Plant Health Care applications and/or Tick/Mosquito Control as necessary

Follow a route to efficiently visit multiple properties each day and effectively complete tasks at each property

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must possess valid Drivers License with a clean driving record

Must possess current MA Pesticide License or ability to obtain it prior to employment

Willingness to work some Saturdays as workload and weather during busiest times of year may dictate

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to stay motivated and work efficiently, often as a one-person crew

Field experience in comparable position is much preferred

Degree relevant to the field (turf management, plant pathology, etc) is preferred

A strong passion for and dedication to enhancing the properties we service

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand and walk long distances

Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures

Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time, seasonal with the option to work during snow operations

Pay Range: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour depending upon experience
