Crew Member- Stoughton

This role will report to our NEW Stoughton Location

Summary:

The Crew Member is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to complete landscaping service contracts and enhancement projects. The Landscape Crew Member will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks.

Job Duties:

• Aid in and perform day to day landscape duties as directed by the crew leader

• Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, commercial mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, etc.

• Assist in daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment

• Ability to carry out verbal and/or written instructions, read labels and signs and report progress to landscape crew leader

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:

• Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape practices is an advantage

• Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

• Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

• Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver's license and safe driving record

Work Conditions:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift. Shifts can include walking, standing, crouching for long periods of time - excellent stamina required

• Fast paced environment
