Position Summary:

As a member of a crew, is the point person on a site leading a team in performance of general landscaping for assigned client locions (e.g., Hedge cutting, mowing, weed whacking, sweeping, leaf/debris collection). Ensures safety regulions and company policies are followed. Works as a team member to effectively and efficiently perform work th meets contracted work orders and meets customer sisfaction. Holds landscape license

Starting Pay: $17.0 per hour

Shifts Available:

5 am - 1:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Team execution of duties assigned for site locion
• Properly clock in and out for each locion as prescribed by Company policy
• Perform landscaping activities including but not limited to mowing, weed whacking, hedge trimming, sweeping, pruning, edging, leaf/debris waste collection and disposal, general sidewalk, walkway cleaning
• During winter/storm months: shovel snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas
• Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automic sprayers or spreaders
• Confirm wer systems are working properly, ensuring proper irrigion, and perform general adjustments and/or report maintenance issues required
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aering, weeding, grubbing, removing thch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls
• Safely use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes
• Ensure work performed covers all work outlined in the work order (contracted specificions)
• Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds
• Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage
• Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools
• Work as a team to perform services safely, and efficiently
• Follow assigned schedule
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure customer questions or concerns are quickly addressed through approprie policy channels
• Conduct Pre and Post Trip inspections of vehicle per DOT Regulion

Educional Qualificions/Job Experience Requirements Experience Required:

• 3 or more years experience, with least one year demonstred progressive responsibility working in Company
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, opering and maintenance
• instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where ste required)
• Must maintain a valid clean drivers license
• KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accure recording of employee work hours, tendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-reled informion. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-reled tasks.
