Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position supervises but does not directly manage a section of the Task team.
Position Summary
The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of employees to complete daily and weekly tasks and on time. They will be also responsible for recording and reporting time length to complete each task.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Train and motivated team members to reach daily production
Conduct crew meetings to provide clear instruction on daily task
Ensure safety policies are being followed at all time
Responsible of setting all work area
Inspect quality of all products
Responsible to keep open communication with Manager and Directors
Responsible to complete all daily reports
Ensure employees follow safety requirements and operations processes
Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
1+ year(s) experience in a leadership role
1+ year(s) experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
1+ year(s) experience in horticulture growing
Strong leadership skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills
Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems
Detailed-oriented with the ability to multitask
Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Office 365 skills in Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Job Setting & Physical Demands
This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles.
Employee must have the ability to life 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
