Irrigation Tech

Service Sprinkler Systems, Sprinkler Heads, and Drip lines, trouble shoot, and diagnose systems and repair.

• Operates, maintains and repairs existing irrigation systems to ensure adequate moisture for plantings. Sets and maintains automatic irrigation systems to run systematically according to the landscape care program.
• Tests and maintains new irrigation systems, backflow devices. Must be personable and professional with a can do and will do attitude.
• Installs and maintains all irrigation backflow devices
• Must be reliable and mechanically inclined.
• Orders irrigation supplies, spare parts and equipment as authorized.
• Documents and maintains appropriate logs, records and inventory of systems.
• Performs specialized tasks during adverse weather conditions.

• Must be able to start work at 7:00 AM During peak season
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must be able to install, trouble shoot, and repair irrigation systems.
• Must be able to work weekends for emergencies or demands of the season
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to read, do basic math, speak and write English and who is tech savvy.
• Be able to work alone, and get work done in timely manner
• Ability to use construction equipment as needed such as a trencher, sod cutter, locator, augers, shovels and others.
