Job Summary :

Applying fertilizer and pesticides to turf and shrubs, recognizing and diagnosing issues with turf and ornamentals.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education

High School or GED

Experience

Prior fertilization, turf and ornamentals experience required

Licensure, Certification, and/or

Registration

Valid Florida Driver’s License

Other

Must be able to work flexible hours

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to perform duties that required a great deal of bending.

Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to irrigation services.

Job Duties

Essential Duties

Identification and treatment of weeds and pests, fertilization, of turf and ornamentals.

Diagnosing pests

Using current methods and best management practices to treat and control pests.

Maintaining spray equipment and turf
