Grounds Crew DEPARTMENT: Grounds REPORTS TO: Grounds Supervisor PURPOSE OF POSITION: Help maintain the grounds and keep the campus looking nice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work hours will vary Remove snow from the sidewalks Water and weed landscapes and flower beds Work as maintenance on athletic fields and sidewalk Mow and trim the lawns and sidewalk edges along the campus Trim hedges and prune trees around campus Assist in general clean up and maintenance of the campus Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Operate grounds equipment Lift heavy items Work cooperatively with other students Follow instructions and perform routine and repetitive tasks Ability to communicate with guests and supervisors
