Equipment Operator / Grounds Maintenance

Growing local property maintenance and land clearing company is looking for a reliable, hardworking Equipment Operator to join our team. This role focuses on operating specialized equipment for stump grinding, brush clearing, and general grounds maintenance on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy equipment and attachments for land clearing, stump work, debris removal, and property maintenance tasks.
• Perform daily equipment checks, basic maintenance, and keep work areas clean.
• Assist with mowing, edging, trimming, and other landscape services as needed.
• Load and haul materials using trailers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Support the team on various job sites across the Cenla area.

Requirements:

• Experience operating landscape or construction equipment (loader, grinder, or similar) is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (trailer experience is a plus).
• Ability to work in heat, humidity, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to our central Louisiana-area location.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team-player attitude.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
