un Construction Foreman - Landscape Construction (foster city) compensation: $32 - $40 BOE employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Landscape Construction Foreman Oxbow Pool and Landscape Contractors is hiring an experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews and oversee high-quality landscape, and specialty construction projects across the Bay Area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a job site, manage people, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently. What You'll Do: * Supervise and lead field crews and subcontractors * Plan daily work and assign responsibilities * Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards * Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor needs * Read and interpret construction plans and specifications * Shoot elevations and perform accurate job site layout * Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and office staff * Professionally communicate with General Contractors, Landscape Architects, property owners, inspectors, and local officials regarding permits and inspections * Schedule and manage inspections and permits * Track job progress, costs, and performance * Maintain job site organization and cleanliness Administrative Responsibilities * Submit crew timecards and receipts * Complete daily logs and progress tracking * Take and submit weekly progress photos * Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections * Manage T&M work orders and reporting * Prepare 2-week look-ahead schedules What We're Looking For * 2-5 years of construction or landscape experience * Prior experience leading crews on job sites * Must be able to read plans, shoot elevations, and perform layout * Strong understanding of job site safety and hazard recognition * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with GCs, Landscape Architects, property owners, inspectors, and municipal staff * Good leadership and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment * Valid driver's license with clean record * Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What Makes You a Great Fit * Positive attitude and team leadership mindset * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work * Ability to problem-solve and stay calm under pressure * Experience managing schedules, materials, and crews What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay ($32-$40 DOE) * Medical, Dental, Vision Life insurance * 401K + Matching * Steady, year-round work * Opportunity for growth & training * Team-oriented environment Important - Please Read Before Applying If you do not have experience reading plans, shooting elevations, performing layout, and communicating professionally on active job sites, this position will not be a fit.
