Mow or Trim Crew Supervisor

Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of mowing, trimming, and landscape maintenance crews to ensure timely and quality work.
Provide clear instructions and guidance on landscaping tasks, including lawn care, pruning, edging, and general garden maintenance.
Monitor crew performance, promote safety protocols, and ensure adherence to company standards and environmental regulations.
Conduct site inspections to assess landscape conditions and determine necessary maintenance or improvements.
Assist with hands-on tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, or irrigation setup when needed to support team efforts.
Train team members on proper equipment operation, safety procedures, and landscaping techniques.
Communicate effectively with clients or project managers to update on progress and address any issues promptly.
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields with a focus on lawn care and trimming.
Supervising experience leading landscaping or construction crews preferred.
Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree care, irrigation systems, and general garden maintenance.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks and ensure customer satisfaction.
Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy equipment or materials as needed.
