Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, according to established safety and operational guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes understanding and following safety regulations, such as OSHA guidelines.
- Load, unload, and transport finished goods and materials within facility. This may involve lifting, stacking, and positioning materials in storage racks or on pallets.
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and other equipment. Report any malfunctions, defects, or maintenance needs to maintenance personnel or supervisors.
- Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage.
- Ensure that goods are properly handled, stacked, and stored to maintain their quality.
- Work as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Conduct weekly line sanitation as scheduled.
- Supply production lines line with all raw materials for production as required.
- Transfer all finished product from the line and put into proper storage area.
- Assist online as needed throughout the shift.
Education/Skills/Experience Required:
- Licensed Forklift Operator with Heavy Equipment experience an asset
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Demonstrate spirit of team work and collaboration with the flexibility to adapt to various tasks.
- Complete tasks as assigned.
Pay Rate: $24.46/hr to start
