Groundskeeper 1 Location: Goldsby, OK 73093 Schedule: 30 hour work week, Monday - Friday Pay: $16.00 per hour Job Overview: Join a dedicated team committed to maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty of our outdoor spaces. As a Groundskeeper 1, you play a vital role in ensuring the health and appearance of the grounds by performing essential landscaping and maintenance tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a supportive environment, contributing to a meaningful cause while developing valuable skills. Qualifications: 1-3 years of groundskeeping experience Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, pulling weeds, and carrying tubs. Comfortable operating a weed eater and refueling equipment as needed. Attention to detail to avoid damaging seedlings during weed control. Physical stamina to work outdoors for extended periods. Reliable and able to follow safety procedures. Prior experience is not necessary but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Responsibilities and Duties: Walk to and from fields to perform maintenance tasks. Bend and pull weeds by hand for long periods, ensuring thorough weed removal. Place pulled weeds into tubs and transport them to designated areas. Carry empty and full tubs to appropriate locations and empty as needed. Start and turn off the weed eater at the beginning and end of each task. Re-fuel the weed eater when empty to ensure continuous operation. Carefully weed around tree seedlings, taking care not to damage them.
