Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead

Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. Safety First expectations include, but are not limited to, compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
Have a teachable and learning attitude. Be willing to help new coworkers learn basic tasks. Prepped to train others

Responsibilities:
Be on time to work
Always try and think about the safest way to complete a task
Read time sheets to know what tools to bring to complete job without returning to shop
Put tools and equipment back where they came from
Check in with manager/ foreman and help coordinate jobs
Attend company meetings

Tasks:
Pulling weeds
Operate a lawn mower
Operate a backpack blower
Operate a string trimmer
Digging
Raking
Laying sod
Carrying heavy boulders or bricks
Planting plants
Heavy equipment loaders, excavators, trenchers, etc.
Installing pavers, and block walls
Fencing, decks or other carpentry
Other tasks a crew lead may ask you to perform

Requirements
Speak English fluently/ Spanish a plus
Be a listener
Have basic plant ID knowledge
Drivers license with clean record
Fill out paperwork accurately
Help keep storage areas clean and safe
Work quickly and efficiently, always be busy even if task isnt given specifically
Keep vehicle clean
Know about processes and procedures that are already in place
Keep shop grounds clean
Must maintain positive customer and employee relations
Previous experience in similar industry at least 3-4 years
