Position Summary
The Landscape Construction Manager oversees all phases of landscape installation projects from estimating and bidding to completion and client handoff. This role requires a strong background in field operations, cost management, and customer communication.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage scheduling, materials procurement, and oversee crews to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.
Review plans and specifications; perform accurate take-offs and develop detailed job estimates.
Present bids for small and large-scale projects, including residential developments and commercial installations.
Maintain active communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure high satisfaction and quality standards.
Monitor job costs, productivity, and quality, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and profitability.
Train and lead field staff in safe, effective work practices according to OSHA and Oregon employment safety standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in landscape construction or installation, including field supervision.
Proven experience estimating and bidding small and large jobs.
Proficiency with project planning, budgeting, and crew management.
Knowledge of landscape materials, irrigation systems, and construction methods.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Valid Oregon Drivers License and clean driving record required.
Must have proficiency in MS office products and computer skills
