Job Overview
The Site Supervisor is responsible for being an inspirational leader to assistant supervisors, foremen and crews. They e xceed client expectations in landscape and horticultural care. Manages client expectations with frequent and proactive verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
Train, recruit, mentor and develop assistant supervisors, foremen and crew members.
Meet with crew and foremen daily to coordinate daily tasks, work and materials.
Ensure procedures are followed for maintenance and protection of all company assets, such as vehicles, maintenance tools and equipment.
Assist in scheduling jobs for maximized efficiency and client service
Manages all work orders and ensures accurate and timely completion and workflow
Complete and check the following for accuracy: blue sheets, work orders, packing slips, route board, new hire list, flower sheets, attendance log, etc.
Locate, acquire and deliver highest quality landscape plants and materials as needed
Receive certifications and continues education in the appropriate horticultural areas
Consistently communicates with all team members regarding all property needs/notes, meetings, schedules, jobs, etc.
A ssess opportunities to enhance/improve gardens and landscape maintenance at client properties
Regular and consistent communication with clients to ascertain their needs and exceed expectations
Inspect client properties at least once a month. Contact clients after each site visit in coordination with Director of Residential Maintenance
Prepares and submits all information needed for purchase orders and proposals
Provides installation of the highest quality design/build projects.
Close contact with clients and the ability to understand, communicate and implement the design/build contracts forms the crux of this position.
Ensure satisfied customers, as well as profitability, whilst constructing projects of the highest caliber.
Perform all other duties as requested or assigned by Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers or Assistant Managers
Job Requirements
At least 1 year of related installation supervisor experience.
Show willingness and capability of continuing education through workshops, classes, and collaboration
Experience managing a crew consisting of laborers providing landscaping or related services.
Clean driving record.
Strong English communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
