The Crane Operor:
Opere cranes with telescoping and ltice booms to load, unload, move and position heavy merial and equipment various work sites under conditions including: crane operions th require precision setting of items, close proximity to workers, and crane operions using all boom lengths, angles and positions.
Make precise load placements where exact movements must be made to position loads accurely and safely, requiring rapid lifting capacity judgments during operion.
Provide instruction to Riggers and Rigging Workers in selection and installion of weight handling gear such as slings, cables, and spreader bars used to lift, move and position various objects.
Perform operor maintenance on equipment opered including inspecting cables for wear, adjusting clutches of cranes and makes other similar adjustments to the crane operion.
The ideal applicant has the skill to opere cranes all boom lengths, angles, and positions.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: A background security investigion is required for all selected individuals. Appointment subject to the applicant's successful completion of the security investigion and favorable adjudicion. Failure to meet these requirements grounds for terminion.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: The employee makes continual control changes to maneuver the crane and load around obstructions, to stay within the lifting capacity, and to position the load the desired locion.
WORKING CONDITIONS: The employee works outdoors in a partially enclosed crane cab in all types of weher. They exposed to unpleasant noise, he, and fumes produced by the engine. They are exposed to the possibility of injury caused by swinging loads or from the crane overturning. Additionally, the employee is exposed to a greer possibility of injury from overturning because they must frequently work near or the crane's lifting capacity.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: You must complete a one-year probionary period (unless already completed).
DEU REQUIREMENTS: Applicants selected under deleged examining procedures may be required to successfully complete a one-year probionary period (unless already completed).
Qualificions
Qualificions for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements th determine which applicants would be able to perform sisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify for the WG-11, your experience should include experience equal or equivalent to the following:
Ability to ensure safety and housekeeping rules are followed, machine capacities are not exceeded, and th tools, supplies and equipment are accounted for and are properly secured the close of each workday.
Ability to opere cranes all boom lengths, angles, and positions.

Provide instruction to Riggers and Rigging Workers in selection and installion of weight handling gear such as slings, cables, and spreader bars used to lift, move and position various objects.
Perform operor maintenance on equipment opered including inspecting cables for wear, adjusting clutches of cranes and makes other similar adjustments to the crane operion.

WORKING CONDITIONS: The employee works outdoors in a partially enclosed crane cab in all types of weher. They exposed to unpleasant noise, he, and fumes produced by the engine. They are exposed to the possibility of injury caused by swinging loads or from the crane overturning. Additionally, the employee is exposed to a greer possibility of injury from overturning because they must frequently work near or the crane's lifting capacity.
