Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator Wage: $22.00 - $23.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Olathe, KS. This position is ideal for candidates who have previous sit-down and/or stand-up forklift experience and are comfortable loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, and moving products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently. Forklift Operator Responsibilities: - Operate sit-down, stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently - Unload incoming shipments from trucks and inspect materials for damage - Load outgoing shipments accurately according to shipping schedules and work orders - Stage materials and products in designated warehouse locations - Wrap, band, and secure pallets for shipment and storage - Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts when required - Follow shipping and receiving procedures to ensure accuracy - Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards - Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly Requirements for Forklift Operator: - Previous forklift experience - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to read and understand work instruction - Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and reach throughout the shift - Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly - Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels - Frequent use of hands and arms to operate forklift controls and handle materials IND137 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
