Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a Loader Operator. This role is based primarily at our Kitchener, ON plant but may require work at other plant locations, as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate loader and other heavy equipment to support daily ready-mix plant operations.
• Load and move aggregate materials, feed plant hoppers, and manage stockpiles to maintain operational efficiency.
• Perform pre-use inspections and promptly report equipment, safety, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor material handling practices to help prevent contamination and support quality control standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while assisting with general labour duties as required.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to support plant operations.
• Capability to operate heavy equipment and safely lift, climb, and enter/exit equipment in an outdoor setting.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment background check.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

• $31.95 per hour
