Landscaping Supervisor

United Staffing Associates is recruiting a Landscaping Supervisor on behalf of a premier hotel property known for its beautifully maintained grounds, ornamental landscaping, mature trees, expansive lawns, and inviting outdoor spaces. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for preserving the property's exceptional appearance while overseeing the daily activities of the landscaping team.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced landscaping professional with strong horticultural knowledge, irrigation expertise, and the ability to lead by example while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and curb appeal across a large hospitality property.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and prioritize daily work assignments for landscaping staff.
Maintain trees, shrubs, plants, lawns, and decorative landscape features.
Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
Implement weed control, pest management, and preventative maintenance programs.
Perform pruning, trimming, and general grounds maintenance to promote plant health and appearance.
Track inventory of tools, supplies, and materials and coordinate supply needs.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating team members.
Communicate project needs and provide updates to management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional outdoor environment.

Qualifications
Four or more years of commercial landscaping experience.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant care, and pest management practices.
Experience using landscaping equipment and power tools.
Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
