NOTICE MST STATE IDAHO EMPLOYEES MUST ITD ITD EXAMPLE DUTIES

+ Making determinations of project effect on environment

+ Serve as technical support to the Federal Highway Administration, ITD or local government staff in environmental resource areas

+ Coordinate with the State/Tribal Historic Preservation Office, federal agencies, tribal staff, consulting parties, private parties, contractors and consultant firms as needed

+ Review, recommend, author, and implement procedures, policy and guidance

+ Review, interpret and recommend comments on proposed rulemaking

+ Conduct compliance monitoring

+ Develop process improvement and/or streamlining tools

+ Develop or support training and/or presentations

+ Develop and negotiate interagency agreements

+ Implement and track performance measures and reporting

+ Manage consultant agreements and contracts as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ Environmental concepts and planning techniques and impacts associated with transportation project location, design, construction and maintenance

+ Environmental design principles

+ Mitigation methods

+ Engineering concepts related to environmental plans

+ Federal regulations and statutory requirements for environmental documentation

+ Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data Writing technical reports

+ Preparing and making presentations of technical findings

+ Some positions require a valid drivers license.
