Crane Operator - Material Handler

Responsibilities

Follow all company safety policies and immediately report any hazards or deficienciesAttend all mandatory training and safety meetingsMaintain cleanliness and organize materials in assigned work areasOperate 3 to 5-ton bridge cranes and 6,000 lb propane sit-down forkliftsConduct daily equipment inspections for forklifts, cranes, and controlsLoad/unload trucks and stock materials using dual hoist bridge cranes or forkliftsReport unusual equipment noises or malfunctionsAssist with stock checks and inventory counts as directedSupport training efforts for new employees when neededPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in material handling or crane operationSkilled in crane capacity limits, rigging, and safe handling of large and irregular steel materialsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilityAble to calculate the weight of materials and accurately read tape measuresAbility to maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally
