Urgently Hiring Crane Operators in Camden, NJ! We are seeking skilled crane operators to join our team for a 1st shift position, operating Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with crane operation, particularly with overhead cranes. Shift & Pay: Pay: $19-20 an hour based on experience Monday-Friday: 6AM - 3:30PM Plenty of available overtime! Key Responsibilities: Operate the overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads such as material, equipment, or machinery. Inspect the crane daily and report any issues, defects, or malfunctions immediately to management or maintenance. Coordinate with management and machine operators on coils and material needed for daily work orders. Perform housekeeping and cleanup of work area. Verify the accuracy of all outgoing shipments and incoming deliveries. Receive and unload coils from inbound trucks and via the coil transfer cart at the rear of the warehouse. Maintain proper inventory of all coils, ensuring all tags are placed properly and coils are staged correctly in each row according to their width. Required Skills & Abilities: 1+ years of experience in overhead crane and crane operation. Machine operation and material handling skills is preferred Excellent manual dexterity, depth perception, hand-eye coordination, and fast reaction time. Ability to carry up to 50 lbs. Proficiency in using and reading a tape measure is preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camden, NJ.
