Groundskeeper

Position Summary:

Under general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Director of Facilities, responsible for the maintenance, care, and modification of the grounds and landscapes which includes the operation of electrically-powered and gasoline-powered grounds keeping equipment and machines, and the use of small hand and power tools or equipment in planting, cultivating, and trimming grounds and landscaping of the Casino.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED plus two (2) years grounds keeping experience where knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in planting, cultivating, and trimming a variety of types of trees, shrubs, ground cover, flowers and grasses has been gained . Valid drivers license. Must meet all knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license. Navajo preference.
