Job Description As a Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping outdoor spaces by collaborating with clients, engineers, and building architects to understand project requirements. You will assist clients in defining their priorities and vision, preparing preliminary sketches of options, and delivering comprehensive site plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, engineers, and building architects to understand the requirements of a project.
- Assist clients in defining their priorities and vision by preparing preliminary sketches of options.
- Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures.
- Prepare graphic representations of plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
- Select appropriate landscaping materials.
- Inspect landscape project progress to ensure that it adheres to plans.
- Seek new work through marketing activities or by giving presentations.
- Modify new or existing plans as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in landscape design, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Expertise in landscape architecture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and computer-aided design (CAD) and modeling software.
- Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models.
- 4+ years of experience in the field.
