Description:

The West Islip School District is seeking a Groundskeeper III to supervise, coordinate and co-work with crew members to maintain school district properties and handle various grounds department responsibilities. Significant prior grounds maintenance and landscaping operations experience is required. Areas of skill or experience must include athletic/ballfield maintenance (grass and turf), irrigation systems, heavy landscaping equipment service and operation, snow plowing with tractor/loader/truck, equipment and material trailering, and staff/operations management.
