URGENT: Landscape Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented landscape architect to join our team and contribute to a variety of projects ranging from residential to commercial and institutional. This role involves direct mentorship of junior staff, collaboration on design drawings, and conducting environmental assessments of sites. You will be responsible for preparing plans for approval by relevant agencies and participating in regular meetings with clients and agencies. A thorough understanding of development design and the review and approval processes within local agencies is desired.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of projects including residential, mixed use, commercial, and institutional.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate to develop design drawings.
• Conduct environmental assessments of sites and prepare plans for agency approval.
• Participate in regular meetings with clients and agencies.
• Understand development design and the review and approval processes within various local agencies.

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with landscape architecture, urban development, and land planning.
• 2-3+ years of landscape designing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or engineering.

• Knowledge of Land FX and graphic design.
• Familiarity with erosion and sediment control.
• Experience with project planning software such as Arbortext and Adobe.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00/hr.
