DFW Organic Growing seeks 3 temp FT Landscape Laborers from 10101I2023 to 11/30/23. Duties: Lawn and landscaping maintenance and installation. Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing off of all lawns. Haul off clippings, weeding, mulching, and planting flowerbeds. Trimming shrubs, install plant material and trees. Will use riding lawnmowers and push mowers, trimmers, edgers, weed eaters, blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws. Employer will provide worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Worksite 13425 US Hwy 287, Fort Worth, TX 76179 & other sites in Tarrant County. Workers will be provided with daily transportation to and from the worksite in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. $16.30/hr Mon-Fri; 40 hrs/wk. Shifts 8am-5pm. OT may be avail. @ $24.45/hr. Employer guarantees work hours equal to @ least 3/4ths of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total employment period. Workers will be paid weekly; the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. The employer will reimburse the H-28 worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-28 worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation & subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/ another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided@ a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day w/ receipts.
